Thompson says:- "Get all the information from the HQ gallops" ttt
I say:- But Thompson. All this HQ rubbish is no bloomin' good!
I say:- Your ads keep spewing out about HQ info and it's duff stuff!
I say:- Is your info coming from the HQ college of Scam-ad's?
I say:- Perhaps the problem is you are getting your information
............. from tricksters like yourself!....Think about it!

Thompsons says:- "Don't miss Tommo's good thing today" (ttt)
I say:- How often have you used that con scam-ad in the Racing Post
I say:- A hundred times? A thousand times? Or umpteen thousand!
I say:- Think about it!

In the month of Nov, THOMPSON'S SCAM-AD LOST ...... - £640

He tipped 139 losers and had a massive 11 winners (2 odds on)

His wins were;- 8-1, 15-2, 4-1, 7-2, 11-4, 5-2, 9-4, 2-1, 1-1 and (2 x etc's)

He signs off the month with:-

"TOMMO'S TIPS"
"Get all the information from the HQ gallops"
"Don't miss TOMMO'S good thing today"

I wanted to keep this Blog clean and proper. But seeing Thomson's
massive loss and then seeing today's most obnoxious and offensive
scam-ad, I ask to be forgiven for saying:-

WORRA LOAD OF CRAP!!!

When the lambs phone to be slaughtered, Thompson will not want to talk about losers on Hennesy Gold Cup day when his "best advice" has to win. He needs a 122-1 shot to clear this months losses!! But I wouldn't mind betting that his "best advice" turns out to be THE BEST RUBBISH ADVICE of the day. It usually is!

THOMSON LOST £6000 IN 3 MNTHS

In 2005 (April-May- Jun) every single Premium Rate Thompson tip was monitored in the Betfair Forum for three months by myself and a very good BF friend of mine by the BF forum name of Cannyman. Mine was Gerry Attric.

Cannyman offered to pay the costs (he's rich!) providing I did the Thompson accounts and the spouting (I'm good at that!) It was fantastic fun every day for three months. Full marks to Betfair for letting that thread run the distance. It was truly bare knuckle exposure!! Alas it did eventually get zapped but not before the account was finished.

The results were:-
In 3 mnths DEREK THOMPSON LOST £5,500 (£50 stake)
In 3 mnths DEREK THOMPSON prem rate charges were £500
In 3 mnths DEREK THOMPSON averaged 5 tips a day
(the more tips he gives the longer the spew, the bigger the charge!)

IN THREE MONTHS HE LOST HIS VICTIMS £6000!!!!
IN THREE MONTHS HE LOST HIS VICTIMS £6000!!!
IN THREE MONTHS HE LOST HIS VICTIMS £6000!!!

The scam-ad business is so mega lucrative (and I do mean lucrative!) that he has expanded the scam by introducing yet another scam-ad. The 'BUZZ LINE' .... The buzzline almost certainly is as big a load of trash/garbage as the original, but at least it appears to be 'clean' of spouting winners only.

ps. As I have been permanently banned from the Betfair forum, maybe when this Blog gets up and running and a keen eyed Betfair forumite spots it, they could slip a message to me old pal Cannyman. I'd love to have a chat with him again before me coals burn out! And also, he'd love to follow this Blog!

I think!

A massive day's profit though for Thompson. £25!!! At the end of today's take, his three winners have reduced his £600 deficit by a massive £25!!!...VERY WELL DONE THOMPSON! Your victims will be well pleased!

Thompson tells us he had three winners last Wednesday. What's so special about Wednesday? There's another 6 days in the rest of the week. Why not gloat about his results from those days? I wonder why?

PHONEPAYPLUS have not got a clue! Worth a read!

In my first blog post (19th nov) I explained that I had written a letter to various authorities asking why Premium Rate tipping adverts are allowed to rip off the public by duping and deceiving people.

Today (28th Nov) I received a reply to my letter from PhonepayPlus and it beggars belief!! ….And this organization by their own words “regulate the content and advertising of all premium rate services, including 090 numbers” You will not believe what they have said!

Before reading Phonepayplus's letter, ask yourself these 2 questions.
Is Derek Thomson operating a premium rate service?
Is Derek Thompson operating an 090 number?
I’ll help you with the second question. His number is 09052330054

1st letter from Phonepayplus (28th Nov)
========================
Dear sir
Thank you for your letter received 19 November 2008. PhonepayPlus is responsible for regulating the content and advertising of all premium rate services. These include services operating on numbers beginning with the digits 090, directory enquiry services and some services accessed via a five digit short code on a mobile phone.

As your enquiry falls outside our remit we are unable to be of assistance. Please contact the relevant party.
Yours sincerely
Phonepayplus Customer Service Advisor”

==============================

Can you believe that!! This so called 'adviser' works for an authority who's remit is to regulate the content and advertising of all premium rate services (PRS)" (thats her job!) and she tells me that the Derek Thomsons PRS and his 090 number are nothing to do with her. Is not a PRS a PRS? ... Is not an 090 number an 090 number? So why is Derek Thompsons PRS and 090 number exempt from the regulatory attention of Phonepayplus!!!

I’ll ask those two questions again
Is Derek Thomson operating a premium rate service?
Is Derek Thompson operating an 090 number?
I’ll help you with the second question. His number is 09052330054

Now read their letter again!

Observation….. Unbelievable incompetence of a regulatory advertising authority that has proved that it has not got the slightest idea of what it is talking about! Carry on Thompson. You ‘aint got nothing to worry about from this bunch of bananas!....Incredible!

(My reply to PhonepayPlus’s 1st letter)
==================================
To:-
Personal attn The Manager
PhonepayPlus
Clove Building
4 Maguire Street,
London SE1 2NQ. 28th Nov 2008

Dear PhoepayPlus Manager
Thank you for the reply to my letter. I am somewhat confused by its content.

You say PhonepayPlus is responsible for the content and advertising OF ALL premium rate services. Yet you say my complaint concerning Derek Thompson’s premium rate service falls outside your remit. WHY? Please explain to me why Derek Thompson’s premium rate service is not within your remit of regulating the advertising of premium rate services!

I repeat! You say that you regulate the content and advertising OF ALL premium rate services. Then why have you rejected my complaint concerning such services?

You tell me you are responsible “for the regulation and advertising of 090 numbers”. But Mr Manager, Derek Thomson’s premium rate number is 09052330054. If you look carefully you will see that the first 3 digits are 090. In your own words you tell me that you regulate the advertising of 090 numbers and then tell me that Derek Thompson’s 090 number is not within your remit.

Before casting this serious issue aside with such inconsiderate attention, could you not have made a little more effort as to the validity of my complaint? If you did not know Derek Thomson’s premium rate number, would not a phone call have been in order?

The complaint I have made in my letter to you is a very serious complaint indeed. I am currently running a blog concerning Thompson's adverts. The blog contains the initial letter which states in its content that all correspondence relating to Thompson’s adverts will be published for all to see..

I feel your letter will not impress the many followers of the blog.

Given the seriousness of my complaint and the inability of your customer service adviser to understand it, I request with the greatest of respect that I receive a reply from somebody who does!
And finally. You say. "Please contact the relevant party" May I ask sir, whom is the relevant party? Do you not think it would have been helpful had I been told?

A most disappointing reply to a very genuine complaint. I trust the reply to this letter will be more helpful and without contradiction.
Yours faithfully
==================================

And now read this:- I recieved a reply to my letter of complaint from Ofcom! What a difference to the 'ham' fob off I recieved from Phonepay Plus!! It was helpfull and explanetry. Briefly the Ofcom letter said my complaint was not wihin their province. They said it was a complaint that should be handled by....... Phonepay Plus (what a bloody stupid name that is. In future I'm going to call them PPP!)

PPP have told me in their letter, that they are the people that deal with premium rate telephone services and 090 numbers and as my complaint was about premium rate telephone services and 090 telephone numbers, they could not help as "it was not within their remit!" That is exactly what they said!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh ha ha Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

Anyway. On with the story.

After being advised by Ofcam to take my complaint to PPP, I have written a second letter to the manager. It reads as follows:-

========================================
Phonepayplus (personal attn of the manager)
The Manager
Clove Building
4 Maguire Street
London SE1 2NQ

29th Nov 2008

Dear Sir

Further to my recent letter concerning my tipping advert complaint which Phonepay Plus rejected,

I would like you to read a copy of a letter that I received from Ofcom which clearly states that my complaint should have been sent to the premium rate regulator Phonepay Plus. In other words you sir. Which I did.

I contacted PPP as Ofcom suggested and what I received from your authority was nothing better than an unhelpful and ignorant fob off by your Customer Service Adviser.

Read the letter that was sent to me by your CSA and try telling me I am wrong.

Why did your Customer Service Adviser tell me that “my enquiry falls outside the remit of Phonepay Plus” when according to all that I have read and been told by Ofcam it clearly is within your remit.

Why did Ofcom read my letter and inform me that Phonepayplus were the people to help me only for the Phonepayplus’s Customer Service Adviser to contradict Ofcom and imply they were wrong? Your staff were wrong! Not Ofcom!

And why did your incompetent Customer Service Advisor read my letter about a dubious PRS 090 tipping advert which deceives, tricks, and preys on the vulnerable with seductive WINNER ONLY boasts (fraudulent advertising) not realise that my complaint was within Phonepayplus’s remit of PRS and 090 numbers?

Your Customer Service Adviser should take note of the very helpful and excellent letter I received from Ofcom guiding me and advising me to contact Phonepayplus (good grief! That is one ridiculous name! From hereon with respect, I shall refer to your Authority as PPP) She should then compare Ofcom's professional letter with the contradictory rubbish she sent. She may then learn how to deal and advise her customers correctly. Maybe a short refresher course in customer relations may help.

I note in the helpful Ofcom letter that the code of practice is designed to set standards for PRS, in particular, provisions aimed at ensuring DECENCY and HONESTY of such services as well as advertising transparency.

In my letter that your CSA rejected Mr Manager, I actually explained the meaning of words and showed by example how they were being abused by adverts that mislead and deceive by omission. I will take this opportunity to repeat the words and blend the meaning to the advert.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DECENCY

"behavior that is good, moral and acceptable in society:"

Question
Are not tipping adverts that only show winners and never the losers a lure for the vulnerable to be tempted and seduced by manipulated statistics that deceive? Let me put it another way. Why don’t the adverts only show losers?

Is the behavior ‘good’ of a PRS that misleads the vulnerable by deception and trickery?

And are such premium rate adverts ‘good, moral and acceptable in our society? I think not!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DISHONEST

“not truthful or able to be trusted and likely to cheat or lie”

In my experience I have never known Thompson to lie. He is to clever to do to cross that boundary, but his adverts and boasts claiming only winners are presented in such a way that the unwary and innocent public trust him. Why else would they pay him.

Question
Are the public not being force fed dishonest adverts that mislead by omission and deception? If they are, is that not dishonest?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CONFIDENCE TRICK or SCAM

"......... is an attempt to defraud a person or group by gaining their confidence"

Question
Is not a misleading advert that indicates success when the reality (and I can prove the reality) is failure, not a ‘confidence trick, and as such is not the scam targeted at the vulnerable person or groups?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FRAUD

In the broadest sense, a fraud is a deception made for personal gain or to damage another individual. The specific legal definition varies by legal jurisdiction. Fraud is a crime, and is also a civil law violation”

Question
Is not a misleading advert by an individual seeking personal gain that indicates success when the reality is failure not a deception? If so is that not fraudulent! And are not innocent and vulnerable people not being financially “damaged” by such deception?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------DECEPTION

“ ...... is the act of convincing another to believe information that is not true, or not the whole truth as in certain types of half-truths"

Question
Are not misleading adverts that gloat information about success but never of failure when the reality is total failure, not deceptive?

Are not adverts that seduce the vulnerable by only showing winners and never the losers not deceiving the ‘unknowing’
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FALSE ADVERTISING

“..... is the use of false or misleading statements in advertising. As advertising has the potential to persuade people into commercial transactions that they might otherwise avoid, many governments around the world use regulations to control false, deceptive or misleading advertising”.

These misleading tipping adverts most certainly persuade people into a ‘commercial transaction’ by duping them into making premium rate telephone calls

Question
Is not the intention of an advert to persuade people into a ‘commercial transaction?

Is not payment to a premium rate line not a ‘commercial transaction?

Question
And what is our government doing to protect the innocent,unwary and the vulnerable?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TRICKSTER

A person who deceives people

Question
Is not a person placing an advert in a newspaper which only shows winners and never mentions losers and knows that his advice causes financial distress to the innocent and unwary (as in a £6000 loss in 3months to a £50 level stake! Proven and on record) not deceiving people? Therefore is not such a person a TRICKSTER?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SWINDLE

“to obtain money dishonestly from someone by deceiving or cheating them”

Question
Is not a person who obtains money from someone by advertising only winners and NEVER a mention of losers not deceiving? Is not a tipster who loses his clients £6000 in three months to a £50 stake and continues to obtain money with trick adverts not dishonestly obtaining money and deceiving people with his trick adverts? And how about the anger and suffering his innocent clients feel when they see the trick adverts day after day in the Racing Post whilst they are losing mega bucks backing the tipster’s losers? By continuing to obtain money via the age old tipping tools of trickery and deception is a SWINDLE. As defined in the dictionary
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMMORAL

”not within society's standards of acceptable, honest and moral behavior;”

Question
Are tipping adverts that trick and deceive “within society’s standards of acceptability?”

They may comply with the low self interest standards that The Racing Post require but they certainly are not acceptable to a respectable society’s standard! Therefore such trick and deceiving adverts must be IMMORAL.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ETHICAL

a system of accepted beliefs which control behavior, especially such a system based on morals:”

Question
Is not duping the public with trick and deceptive adverts not a breech of ethics?

Question
Are premium rate tipping services bound by a code of ethics? If so what are they?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In summary I would ask your views as to adverts that mislead and deceive by manipulation and omission,

Is that not ……….INDECENT?
Is that not………..DISHONEST?
Is that not a….… CONFIDENCE TRICK?
Is that not a….… SCAM?
Is that not a….… FRAUD?
Is that not a….….DECEPTION?
Is that not a….….FRAUDULENT ADVERT?
Is that not ……....FALSE ADVERTISING?
Is that not……....TRICKERY?
Is that not a…......SWINDLE?
Is that not…….....IMMORAL?
Is that not …….. .UNETHICAL?

I believe all the above ‘tools of the tipping advert trade’ can be applied to the adverts that Derek Thomson uses to mislead, trick and deceive by omission and manipulation. He has manufactured a coin that if tossed a million times will always come down heads. And to my mind sir, that is not decent!

I also believe he has an agreement with the Racing Post called an ‘advertorial’ whereby he places his advert for free and they share the revenue obtained by tricking and seducing the gullible and vulnerable. In my opinion sir, The Racing Post is as immoral as what he is!

The bottom line to this complaint sir is not about one vulnerable person being conned out of £5000 and making a fuss! Its about a 1000 (maybe more) people being conned out of a just £5 or so every day. Such people think “well it was only a fiver and it ‘aint worth bothering about” That is the strength behind Derek Thompson's scam. And it is a scam!

With respect, I would request that you answer all my questions. That is of course if you are of the right authority!

Yours sincerely,

Thompson says:- "Don't miss TOMMO's good thing today"
I say:- SICK!

Repetitive DRIVEL ... Repetitive DRIVEL ...Repetitive DRIVEL!!

Here he goes again. Repetitive scam-ads! Take a look at what I said yesterday and you will see what I mean about 'tipping tools' used in scam-ads.

OK Thompson! What happened to the 'Good Thing' yesterday. And what sort of information were you referring to when you said "Information direct from the HQ Gallops?" Was it information concerning the HQ kiddies-winkles Christmas party? What a load of DRIVEL!!!!!!

Just a thought! I wonder if Thompson and the Racing Post invest in Thompson's selections? If not, why not?

Thompson was snapped up by the Racing Post when the Sporting life destroyed itself through bad management. They got stuffed big time when they called Ramsden a cheat. Derek Thompson was a witness and claimed that Fallon had told him that Ramsden had given orders to pull the horse in the 1995 Swaffam. The jury did not believe him. Ramsden won his case. The settlement and costs were massive and a short while after, the SL imploded. As a point of interest, I believe it came to light during the trial that the SL did not charge Thompson for his adverts. After the SL went bust The Premium Rate Scam-ad Man was on the loose. But not for long!! So lucrative is the revenue from Scam-ads that the Racing Post snapped him up in short time and the Thompson scam-ad has been published in the Racing Post ever since!

Question. Do you think that after all these years that The Racing Post do not know about scam-ads?

Now that's one to:-

Think about!

-------------------------------------------------------------

When the scam-ad is wearing thin, he opens up the 'tipping tool chest' and lobs in a couple of age old classics. That will keep the Premium Rate scam-ad phones ringing until the next winner!

The scam-ad is:- DRIVEL ....... Drivel means 'nonsense or boring and useless information' ... Wow! I could not have put it better myself. Drivel says it all doesn't it. 'nonsense - boring - and USELESS INFORMATION!' And the vulnerable are ripped off by scam tipping adverts that contain nothing more than pure DRIVEL. More about drivel later.

First lets take a look at Thompson's account on the grounds of another presumed 5 losers from yesterday. If he'd had a winner the scam-ad would have spouted on about it. No winners = no spouting! But don't forget though! The stats are 'approx' because Thomson's drivel scam-ads do not talk losers!

OK. More about DRIVEL! Why is it drivel? Let me tell you why. It's drivel because Thompson can't find anything better to say. He's scraping the barrel. So what does he do? He digs up the old "HQ good thing" nugget. Hence drivel. Hence "nonsense, boring, and useless information" I've seen him do it time and time again. Even Thompson can only squeeze so much out of his '7 wins scam-ad'. He managed 5 days. So out comes the "good thing from HQ" which usually results in an odds on shot. And that means more of his "etc etc's" appearing in the scam ad's.

Instead of plastering his scam-ad with drivel, why did he not use the space to tell people something important such as:-

Now I wonder why Thompson chose not to tell us that?

Think about it!

(Nov 25 tues scam-ad 7)

(Nov 25 tues scam-ad 7) Tommo's advert in The Racing Post today:-
============================================
IN APR/MAY/JUN 2005 THOMPSON LOST £6000 (£50 stk)
(and every day the scam-ad spewed out seductive temptations)
============ (the above is NOT his advert!!!) ==========

BETTING LOSS since Nov 1st .......... = - £440 LOSS (£5 stk)

Premium rate RIP OFF CHARGES ..... = - £125 LOSS

TOTAL SCAM LOSS ....................... = - £ 565 LOSS

(tue nov 25)
"TOMMO'S TIPS"
"15-2 Winner Yahrab on Saturday"
"Don't miss out on today's info"

According to the scam-ads, Thompson does not tip losers! So all stats are approx and based on 5 tips per day. He codes odds on shots as "etc etc"
---------------------------------------------------------------
Selections since 1st Nov = 125
Winners = 8
Losers = 117
Amount invested to a £5 stake (125 bets) = =============£625
Win returns (£5 stake) on 8 wins (£145) plus (£40 stks) ==== £185
Current loss since Nov 1st = £625 - £185 === ========== - £440
Plus call costs since Nov 1st (25 days) =============== - £125
LOSS IN THE PAST 25 DAYS ================= - £565 LOSS
------------------------------------------------------------
THOMPSON'S TIPPING TOOLS (tools of the trade used in the manufacture of scam-ads!) Can you spot them! I'll give you a clue (ttt)

Thompson says:- "15-2 winner Yahrab on Sarurday!"
I say:- WOW! Sensational stuff Thomson! You've tipped a winner!!!!
I say:- I think thats your 8th winner in your last 120 tips.
I say:- Brilliant tipping Thompson. Keep it up down there at HQ!!!
I say:- Aaaaaaaaaaaaagh ha ha Haaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Thompson says:- "Don't miss out on todays info!" (ttt)
I say:- Look at your losses and then think if what you say is DECENT!
I say:- Look at your losses and then think if what you say is HONEST

WOW!!! ..............Thompson tipped a winner and has at last changed that boring 5 day scam-ad for another scam-ad. The conveyor belt of scam-ad's is endless!

He told us yesterday that he's had 7 winners this month so with this latest triumph it now stands at 8 ("8-1, 4-1, 11-4, 9-4, 2-1 etc. etc" and "15-2" making a total return including stakes of 34 units). ..But "etc etc" eases the embarrassment of telling the world that he's had a couple of 'odds on' winners! "etc etc" is a disguise for valueless wins)

Thompson has tipped another winner and he's trumpeting it out loud and clear in his scam-ad today. But hang on a minute!! What about his losers? In the past 5 days he has given approx 30. He has not trumpeted that statistic out has he? And that gentlemen is the THE TRICK- THE SCAM and THE RACKET! He shouts and spouts about the first winner he's had in the last 5 days as though he's hit the jackpot but not a mention about all the losers he's had does he?

Question. Is that fair to anybody who reads his Scam-ad in The Racing Post for the first time? Thompson knows he's doing very very badly but tells the innocent "Don't miss out! Call or text now" And the innocent, the gullible, and the vulnerable do not "want to miss out" So they phone!!! Is that decent? Is that fair? And is that being honest with his customers?

Is it fair that a person be sold a barrel full of bad apples WITH THE LID ON because the seller only shows the buyer one good apple?

And finally another question. Why do the Advertising Standards Authority offer no protection to the vulnerable against CONFIDENCE TRICK advertisers that SWINDLE people out of their money? I intend to find out. Watch this space!

Think about it!

.

"DISHONEST" re SCAM-ADS

DISHONEST

'Of likelihood not to be truthful or able to be trusted and likely to cheat and lie'

Derek Thompson does not lie. He is to slick and slippery to cross that boundary. But his adverts and boasts that claim 'winners only' are presented in such a way that vulnerable people are steered into trusting his honesty. After all, he is a high profile TV celebrity isn't he? Why else would they respond to the scam advert and pay him for the forthcoming garbage they will receive if they did not trust the credibility of the author?

Are the public not being force fed adverts that MISLEAD BY OMISSION and DECEPTION? And is that not DISHONEST?

Think about it!

Thompson says:-
Winners so far this month include 8-1,4-1,11-4,9-4,2-1 etc etc"(TTT)
I say:- WOT? NOTAGAIN.!!!! That's SCAM-DAY NUMBER 5
I say:- MILK - TRICK - CON - MILK - TRICK - CON!!!
I say:- Thompson's 5 day 'winner only' scam-ad is indecent.
I say:- Thompsons record indicates he must be clueless
I say:- Not nice Thompson - Not nice!
I say:- If he can't tip a winner, why treat good folk with contempt?
I say:- If he can't tip a winner, why does he still try to seduce them?
I say;- We all know the answer to that. BUT SOME DON'T!
I say:- Do his victims know he has now had 108 losers this month?
I say:- Do his victims know he is losing £550 this month?

And Thompson still spews out:-
"DON'T MISS OUT ON TOMMO'S INFO TODAY!" (TTT)

After 5 days of scam-ad garbage, and zero winners Thompson still comes out with this most offensive piece of verbal vomit. I have nothing further to say about this obnoxious 'tipping tool' that he has selected to grind into the face of the honest people that trusted him and phoned him. Instead I will go off on a rant!

Thompson's has spouted out these same piffling 7 winners for the past 5 DAYS!!!!! If that's the best he can do this month, its not very good is it? Yet he himself is doing very nicely isn't he, thank you very much. His victims lose via the scam advert and he just keeps filling his boots with the trick money. Nice work if you can get it! But a person with a dram of honesty would not even sniff at it!!

This is the fifth day that the same unchanged scam-ad has appeared since last Thursday. Five days!!! That almost certainly means Thomson has had another 25 losers since last Thursday to add to his secret collection of November losers. Thompson's scam-ad actually says that the 7 winners he has given (and look at the pathetic prices!) are "the winners so far this month"!!!!" Thomson is actually telling us that he has only had 7 winners this month!! So let me tell him how many losers he has probably had this month. Its around the 113 mark!! But that doesn't bother Thompson does it. He just goes on and on and on dishing out the garbage scam-ads. The stats I show are 'approx' because to find out how many hundreds of pounds he is losing will cost you many hundreds of pounds in scam call costs!!!

I've got a brilliant idea Thompson! If you haven't had any more winners this month, how about adding a little spice to the scam-ad by flavoring it up with a few losers. How's that for a brilliant idea?

Think about it!

Thompson says:- "Winners so far this month include 8-1, 4-1, 11-4, 9-4, 2-1 "etc etc" (A big TTT)
I say:- What about the 93 losers Thomson. Don't they count?

I say:-..."etc etc" is probably his most overworked ttt! watch out for it!
I say:- smoke screen! Misleading by omission. why not show the prices?

And I say
DECEPTION - MISLEADING - TRICKERY - DISHONEST - CON
---------------------------------------------------------

By his own words Thompson tells us that the only winners he has had "SO FAR" this month is
7. Given that today is the 20th, it does not take a rocket scientist to work out that at 5 selections a day he has tipped 100 selections. THAT MEANS HE'S HAD 93 LOSERS!!!!!!!!!

AND HIS SCAM ADVERT IS GLOATING TODAY THAT HE HAS HAD 7 WINNERS
What is more important for his intended victims to know?
That he has had 7 winners or 93 LOSERS?
Thompson chooses the 7 winners option and hides the 93 losers

AND HIS SCAM ADVERT IS STILL REAPING IN THE INNOCENT BY SAYING "DON'T MISS OUT ON TOMMO'S INFO TODAY"
What is more important for his intended victims to know?
That he has won £70 pound this month or LOST £430
Thomson chooses the £70 win option and hides the £430 loss!!!

Ask yourselves this question. Is Derek Thompson being morally decent and honest with the people who are putting their trust in him by paying for his information without knowing WHAT HE DOES about his apalling service?

And that ladies and gentlemen is what is called a first class Derek Thomson tipping SCAM.

(Nov 19 wed scam-ad1) ........ ABOUT ME

(Nov 19 wed scam-ad1) Tommo's advert &.. ABOUT ME
================================================
IN APR/MAY/JUN 2005 THOMPSON LOST £6000 (£50 stk)
(and every day the scam-ad spewed out seductive temptations)
============ (the above is NOT his advert!!!) =============

BETTING LOSS (Nov 1st - 19th inc) .... = - £430 LOSS (£5 stk)

Premium rate RIP OFF CHARGES ..... = - £95 LOSS

TOTAL SCAM LOSS............................. = - £525 LOSS

=================================================
MY MISSION.
To get the Premium Rate (090) regulators to eradicate tipping adverts that mislead, trick, dupe, seduce and sell (£150 mnth) to honest folk, information that is manufactured in such a way that its purpose is to trick and deceive. ie. Winner only adverts. As in a market trader selling a barrel full of rotten apples by only showing a few good ones on the top. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE. That is the purpose of this blog!
==================================================
If anybody starts feeling sorry for Thompson just think of the poor souls that have ended up with a broken home and penniless as a result of having an initial flutter on the likes of this well known, high profile TV racing pundits premium rate tipping service. After all its only a fiver. They lose, they try again and they lose and then they chase their losses by thinking he must get a winner tomorrow. And they win a little and then they try again and lose and then they chase their losses and then they are in trouble. Compulsive gamblers do not happen over night. Many, including housewives (they all love Tommo, he's so nice and cuddly and granny loves him!) are encouraged to start gambling by trick adverts that deceive and mislead. No sir. Derek Thompson is a wealthy man! And he did not get wealthy by backing the horses that he tips. He is not stupid!!!! A major part of his wealth comes from the proceeds of his scam adverts. They are so lucrative that he now has two running in the Racing Post. And if you phone his number every day for 3 months on just one line alone, it will cost you £500!!!! Just a hundred calls a day would net the scam-ad £50,000 every three months!! £200,000 for a year. And all that comes from the vulnerable, the gullible, the unknowing, the unwary, and the innocent who are seduced and steered into having a go by reading scam-ads whose intent is to trick and deceive!!! After all it only costs a fiver!

Think about it!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am going to start monitoring Derek Thomson's premium rate advert tipping service. I do not intend to be robbed at the rate of £500 every three months just for the privilege so I am going to monitor his bets on an average count of 5 a day. I'm sure it will not be less than that because the more tips he gives the longer he spouts and the more he spouts the more he makes. No problem with winners. He almost certainly boasts every single one in the scam-ad. S'gonna be interesting! So here we go!
----------------------------------------------------
(wed nov 19)
"TOMMO'S TIPS"
"3 winners Monday"
"13-8, 2-1, 9-4."
"TOMMO keeps delivering"
"Don't miss out, Call or text now"
------------------------------------------ ----------
According to the scam-ads, Thompson does not tip losers! So all stats and figures are approx and based on 5 tips per day. He codes odds on shots as "etc etc"

Selections since 1st Nov = 95
Winners = 3
Losers = 92
Amount invested to a £5 stake (95 bets) = =============£475
Win returns (£5 stake) on 3 wins (£30) plus (£15 stks) ==== £45
Current loss since Nov 1st = £475 - £45 ============= - £430
Plus call costs since Nov 1st (19 days) =============== - £95
LOSS IN THE PAST 19 DAYS
=============== - £525 LOSS
------------------------------------------------------------
THOMPSONS TIPPING TOOL BOX (tools of the trade used in the manufacture of scam-ads!) Can you spot them! I'll give you a clue (ttt)

Thompson says:- "3 winners Monday" (a ttt)
I say:- And what about the 93 losers. Don't they count?
I say:- And look at the piffling prices of the winners! 9-4, 2-1,and 13-8!
I say:- The scam-ad PRS service is running a £525 LOSS and you are spouting out big and loud that you have managed a 9-4, 2-1, & 13-8 winner. All 3 not to far from being odds on!! "etc etc"!!! gerrit!!!

Thompson says:- "Tommo keeps delivering" (a ttt)
I say:- So you've become a mid-wife Thompson. Congratulations!
I say:- But I think its garbage you deliver really isn't it?

Thompson says:- "Don't miss out" (a ttt)
I say:- Had your victims not missed out, they would not now be broke!

Thompson says:- "Call or text now" (a ttt)
I say:- Do so at your peril! You have been warned!

And I say DECEPTION - MISLEADING - TRICKERY & DISHONEST

Think about it!
-------------------------------------------------------------

So lets try and work out how he's doing. Unfortunately Thompson chooses only to feed us with cultivated delicacies, ie. winners only. The losers (and there are plenty of them!!) are conveniently omitted. Showing winners only and never losers is a deception that appears an obligatory requirement for all wannabe Premium Rate racing tipsters. So for the purpose of processing the Thompson ongoing scam-ad account, we will just have to assume and presume from the snippets of information that he chooses to select and seduce. From past similar exercises, I don't think the assumed stats will be to far out.

As mentioned above, all stats throughout this Blog will be 'approx'. They are 'approx' because Thompson only spouts winners in the scam-ads. In 15 years according to the scam-ad, he has never tipped a loser. So an accurate assessment as to his running account is impossible. But in 2005 (April-May- Jun) every single Premium Rate tip that Thompson gave was monitored in the Betfair Forum for three months by myself and a very good BF friend of mine by the forum name of Cannyman. Alas it did eventually get zapped but not before the the account was finished.

The buzzline almost certainly is as big a load of trash/garbage as the original, but to be honest I don't think he promotes 'winners only' on it. If he does - watch this space!.

But remember. According to the scam-ads, Derek Thompson does not tip losers!!!!

ABOUT ME!

OK here goes. Before I start I must tell you that my gripe is with premium rate scam tipping adverts. Such despicable fabricated (manufactured) adverts appear every day of the week in the Racing Post, boasting and gloating about a few winners. In all the years I have been racing, I have never seen Thompson's advert show a loser. Perhaps a requirement from the Racing Post for him to advertise, is that he can only show his victims his winners. That of coarse is a presumption. But let me ask WHY does the Thompson advert never show losers? But I don't have to do I? Its so obvious. It would spoil the advert were a loser be mentioned. Far better to feed his victims 'winners only' in his adverts. They smell nicer. Losers stink!!! That my friends is Deception and I want to know why is it allowed!

Adverts that only show winners and never losers disguise the factual content of the service. Thompson tosses the coin and only shows when the head wins. If he had 50 losers in a row, he can still manufacture his advert every day by digging up long past winners (AND HE DOES!) thus fueling his advert with misleading content. And that is, DECEPTION BY OMISSION!

I have recently been expelled (permanent) from the Betfair Forum for forceful, but truthful, comment concerning the 'TOMMO' advert in the Racing Post. At the beginning of November there was a cracking good post by a Betfair forumite by the name of 'Birkdale' concerning Derek Thompsons dubious tipping practices. In the few days before Betfair withdrew the thread, Birkdale had acquired about 600 posts from racing people ranting their feelings concerning the Thompson scam. Had the thread not been pulled it would have reached in the thousands. Such is the anger of those that have the benefit of knowing. Pity those that don't! Birkdale himself had just returned from a months ban for a previous Tommo expose. Just before my expulsion, I published in the BF forum, (Birkdale's thread) a very powerful letter that accused the content of the Tommo advert of:-

Misleading by misrepresentation.
Misleading by omission
Confidence trick
Fraud
Fraudulent advertising.
Deception
Trickery
Swindle
Immoral
Un-ethical
Dishonest
And a SCAM

A copy of that letter has been sent to the organisations listed below requesting why vulnerable people are being ripped off with premium rate tipping advert scams.

Advertising Standards Authority
Scambusters, Trading Standards
Phonepay Plus
Ofcom
Watchdog
Panorama
Gamcare

I do not blame Betfair for my expulsion. After all, I was using them as a vehicle for my rants, and the rants were rather heavy at times. However, there were readers on the Forum who were interested and looking forward to the replies that will be forthcoming to my letters who will be disappointed that they will no longer be able to do so.

It was suggested that I start up a Blog and they may find me there. Now then. The only Blog I knew anything about was a girl by that name (Blogg) who I met at Battersea Park (Festival of Britain circa 50's). One night I took her up to a lay-by by Epsom race track in my Ford Zodiac!!! I 'aint sayin' no more about that!!

I just do not have a clue about Blogs etc but with the aid of a very very good friend of mine who is a world famous pole dancer (true) I have managed to come up with what you see in front of you. At least I have managed to make a start. Hopefully I shall learn as I travel.

Whilst awaiting replies to my letter, I thought it might be fun to follow Tommo's scam tipping advert daily. It will not take long to evaluate the tricks within. He tips about 5 selections a day. Winners are placed (stretched) into scam-ads to balance the losing days. ie. If he has a couple of winning days and then knocks in an 8-1 winner, he may save it for a couple of days in case a bad run may happen. He will then pop up the 8-1 winner during the bad run and say "8-1 winner last Saturday at HQ. Hope you were on" Question! Why does he have to wait 4 or 5 days to bring out a winner?"

So by assumption and presumption we can get an idea as to his ever increasing losses. But you would never have guessed it by reading his wonderful and inspirational adverts though. Would you?

(23rd Nov) I opened this Blog on the 19th Nov and as at the moment I think I may have done something wrong as I am unable to find it in the web. When and if it gets 'live' please spread the word as my old buddies in the Betfair forum would love to read it. I think!!!

S'gonna be fun!
