Now if Channel 4 Racings Derek Thompson's Member Club was successful, would he not want his subscribers to spread the word? Of course he would. But his rule 4 frightens and forbids those without knowledge and experience from telling the world how successful he is. How strange!! How strange Thompson frightens people from spreading the word that he operates a successful and profitable tipping service. Why on earth would he not want to receive more clients via recommendation.
Maybe there is another reason for frightening those without knowledge and experience into remaining silent as to the huge losses they receive from this confidence trickster supremo!
Maybe many read my blog but are afraid to pass on information as to Thompson's huge losses because of fear of Thompson's legal threats. They all know they have been stitched up but are afraid to say!
Question. Has Channel 4 Racing's Derek Thompson ever sought legal "redress" from any member for giving information about any of his tens of thousands of losers in the past 20 years !!!!.....And pigs might fly!!!
But Thompson himself is allowed to break the rules by altering his lying promotional material. His rule 7 states quite clearly that members will be notified on the "members website" of a refund entitlement. No notification has been made. Instead he removes the title "PRIVATE MEMBERS WEBSITE" from the web page!

I have just read your story about Derek Thompson being two-faced. He is also a bully.
A couple of weeks ago I was reading the website for his Racing Club and looking at ways in which he is trying to enrol members. There is a facility on his website that allows you to request further information about his Club via e-mail before you commit yourself, and he promises a reply within 48 hours.
I sent him an e-mail about the testimonials that appear on his website and I asked him to clarify what dates they refer to. I didn't get a reply.
I then sent him another e-mail asking for the same information because I believed these testimonials referred to events that happened over 3 years ago.
This time I did get a reply. He said that he was not prepared to supply me with this information either now or at any time in the future. I was effectively banned by Thompson for asking a straightforward question.
Derek Thompson is a long way from being the clean cut, friendly and cheerful person he tries to portray on TV. Derek Thompson is a two-faced bully who hides behind misleading adverts and has been ripping-off the public for 20 years.
The sooner racing rids itself of this parasite the better.

Derek Thompson is again giving out inaccurate information to promote his tipping line.
In Monday's Racing Post advert, right next to his sickly smile, he is again gloating about the 20/1 winner Time For Rupert.
He is telling the unsuspecting public that he tipped it last week.
Wrong Thompson. It was last month, 19th. February to be precise.
As this winner is the only thing that is likely to keep your disasterous tipping line in business for the forseeable future, it is important that you are at least honest about the date it happened.

"I like Silver Charmer here at a big price, 50-1. She's been laid out for this race." Silver Charmer runs well but ends up sixth. Tommo has a bit of each-way success in the second race to get himself back in gear but then, disastrously, he catches the losing bug. "What A Friend is owned by Sir Alex Ferguson and I can tell you now there's a very strong word coming out of Manchester United for this one." What A Friend runs like a dog and gives up before the finish.
Don't fail us now, Tommo.
"The Gold Cup next," he announces. "In the last 24 hours I've spoken with Sam Thomas, rider of Denman, and Ruby Walsh, rider of Kauto Star, and I have to say, Sam is very, very confident about Denman's chances. He thinks he'll win. I don't."
(Gerry sez. Denman won at 9-4!!!! The price was probably to high to qualify as a Derek Thompson selection!)
Two more losers follow (one of them finishes last) and we arrive at the County Hurdle, a charge of the light brigade that brings the curtain down on the Festival for another year. Tommo needs a winner to avoid Verney status. Mercifully, he has kept in reserve what he calls his "bet of the day", the 2008 equivalent of the CAST-IRON PLUNGER. "You don't want to miss out on this," he says. "He's trained by Red Rum's old jockey and ridden by the great Tony McCoy, it's No.9, Wanango."
Wanango staggers home in 11th place, dead to the world for all that money riding on its back. Tommo has managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, ending £31 down for the two days, including the cost of the privileged information he let us in on. The third coming of Verney"

On the off chance that Thompson has actually studied the form before "unleashing" these bets, lets hope that he used all the up to date latest information to help him.
Its a pity the same can't be said for those unsuspecting people he is looking to lure into his trap called the Derek Thompson Racing Club.
Instead of providing them with the latest up to date information, Thompson prefers to focus on a list of winners he provided in November 2006 !! He also produces what he describes as "testimonials", and at least one of these goes back to August 2006 !!
In the same way that nobody in the right mind would back a horse without knowing its latest form, is it right for Derek Thompson not to disclose any details about his winners or losers for the past 28 months ?
Or could it be that over the past 28 months its just been loser after loser for Derek Thompson, and that wouldn't make good reading on his website.
If Derek Thompson is trying to get unsuspecting members of the public to part with £150 to join his club, then he should be made to display his own recent form figures. And if he did, it is extremely unlikely that anybody would be interested in backing him.
