Tommo's advert in The Racing Post today:-(frid dec 12)
“Tommo’s in the giving mood this festive month”
“and I’m giving out winners”
“Many great winners already in December”
“12-1, 4-1, 4-1, 5-1, 3-1, 5-2, 5-4, 15-8, etc, etc”
So am I!!! I’m in a festive giving mood as well
So I’m giving THE FACTS behind the SCAM-AD!
Yet again the scam-ad spews out stale garbage!
Yet again the scam-ad has produced no more winners!
Yet again the scam-ad has produced countless secret losers!
Yet again the scam-ad misleads with winners only!
Yet again the scam-ad never mentions his huge losses!
Yet again the scam-ad tricks the good guys!
Yet again the scam-ad deceives the innocent!
Yet again the scam-ad misleads the vulnerable!
Yet again the scam-ad is a con!
Yet again the scam-ad is immoral!
Yet again the scam-ad is un-ethical!
Yet again the scam-ad is a swindle!
Yet again the scam-ad is beyond the boundary of decency!
Yet again the scam-ad is dishonest!
How’s that lot “for being in the giving festive mood?”
========================================
It is written within the scriptures of Ofcom that “The code of practice for premium rate services and 090 numbers is designed to set and maintain standards aimed at ensuring decency and honesty of such services”
Now let me explain the meaning of the word….. DECENCY.
Decency means:- conformity to the recognized standards of decent or proper behavior …. good taste …. modesty …. behaviour that is good, moral and acceptable in society
Does an advert that intentionally misleads and deceives by omission conform to the recognised standard of proper behaviour? I think not!
Is an advert that intentionally misleads and deceives by omission in “good taste?” I think not!
Is an advert that gloats, shouts, brags and boasts winners only and never mentions losers a modest advert? I think not!
Is an advert that misleads, tricks and deceives, an advert that is good, moral and acceptable in society? I think not!
An example of the word used as an adjective could be “I thought he was a decent person”
= = = = = = = = = = = = = =
Now let me explain the word …………………. HONESTY
Honesty means:- showing uprightness and fairness (as in honest dealings) …. Gained or obtained fairly (as in honest wealth) …. sincere; frank: …. genuine or unadulterated: …. having a good reputation (as in an honest name) ….truthful or creditable …. humble, plain, or unadorned …. archaic. chaste; virtuous ….. honorable in principles, intentions, and actions (as in upright and fair and as in an honest person)
Does an advert that tricks, misleads and deceives show uprightness and fairness? I think not!
Is not an advert that tricks, misleads and deceives and then takes payment unfairly, not an advert that reaps dishonest wealth? I think it is!!!!!!!!!!
Is an advert that tricks, misleads and deceives a sincere and frank advert? I think not!
Is an advert that tricks, misleads and deceives a genuine and unadulterated advert? I think not!
Does the author of an advert that misleads. tricks and deceives, think he has a good reputation and has an honest name amongst the innocent folk that are daily being ripped off by his scam advert? I think he does!
Is an advert that tricks, misleads, and deceives a truthful advert? Yes it is. But it tells the truth in such a way that it tricks, misleads and deceives the people that read it. The advert looks creditable when only showing winners. It only becomes hugely uncreditable when the countless losers are occasionaly exposed as at the top of the page!
Is an advert that boasts, gloats, and brags about winners only and hides the never to be seen losers an advert that is humble, plain and unadorned. I think not!
Is an advert that tricks, misleads and deceives an advert that is archaic, chaste, and virtuous? I don’t know wot that lot means! But I expect the answer is:- I think not!
But I know what this last lot means!!! Is an advert that tricks, misleads and deceives honorable in principles, intentions, and actions; upright and fair?!!!!!!!!!
An example of the word HONEST used as an adjective could be “I thought he was an honest person”
Here endeth the "GIVING" lesson!!!!
===============================================
I am awaiting a reply to the letter I sent to the regulator. (see Nov Archive Payphone Plus) As I write I have not received a reply. But rest assured. I WILL. It is my belief that they are struggling!
Why do the Advertising Standards and the 090 regulators allow adverts to be published in newspapers that can be proven to be tricks and cons? I want to know, and one day? ………………. I WILL FIND OUT!!!
According to Thompson's scam-ads, his losers are countless! (think about it!) So all stats are approx and based on 5 tips per day. He codes odds on shots as "etc etc"
--------------------------------------------------------------
Selections since 1st Nov = 210
Winners = 23
Losers = 187
Amount invested to a £5 stake (205 bets) = =========== £1050
Win returns (£5 stake) on 23 wins (£411) plus (£115 stks) == £526
Current loss since Nov 1st = £1050 - £526 ======== - £524 LOSS
Plus call costs since Nov 1st (42 days) ========== - £210 LOSS
LOSS IN THE PAST 42 DAYS ============= - £ 734 LOSS
(now standing at over £700 just as I predicted!)
(target £800 not far away!)
----------------------------------------------------------------
Below are the winners & losers in the last 42 days.
ev, ev, ev, ev, ev, ev, ev,15-8, 2-1,9-4,
5-2, 5-2, 11-4, 3-1, 7-2, 4-1, 4-1, 4-1, 9-2, 5-1,
15-2, 8-1,12-1,(23 wins)(182 losers)
All 'odds on' winners are listed as 'ev,' Please do not abuse my generosity Thompson!
--------------------------------------------
RECORD BREAKER!!!
The running total record stands at - £734 LOSS!!! (12 dec)
Thompson knows and I know and the whole of the pro's in horse racing know …….. IT CAN'T BE DONE! So why does he keep running his scam-ad every day? Think about it!....It is my belief that the only people that do not know it can't be done, are the honest and decent people that put their trust in scam tipping adverts little realising the trickery and deception that goes into their manufacture. But you know and I know don't we!
The bottom line. By betting just £5 per tip, Thompson has lost approx £734 in 42 days to a £5 stake
