(dec 2 tue scam-ad 14)

Tommo's advert in The Racing Post today:-
==========================================
IN APR/MAY/JUN 2005 THOMPSON LOST £6000 (£50 stk)
(and every day the scam-ad spewed out seductive temptations)
============ (the above is NOT his advert!!!) =========

BETTING LOSS since Nov 1st .......... = - £482 LOSS (£5 stk)

Premium rate RIP OFF CHARGES ..... = - £160 LOSS

TOTAL 'SCAM-AD' LOSS ............. = - £ 642 LOSS

(mon dec 2)
"TOMMO'S TIPS"
"5-1 & 9-2 winners over the weekend!"

"Tommo makes sure his clients are the first to know"
"Call or text now"

According to the scam-ads, Thompson does not tip losers! So all stats are approx and based on 5 tips per day. He codes odds on shots as "etc etc"
--------------------------------------------------------------
Selections since 1st Nov = 160
Winners = 13
Losers = 147
Amount invested to a £5 stake (160 bets) = ============= £800
Win returns (£5 stake) on 13 wins (£253) plus (£65 stks) ==== £318
Current loss since Nov 1st = £800 - £318 ======== - £482 LOSS
Plus call costs since Nov 1st (32 days) =========== - £160 LOSS
LOSS IN THE PAST 32 DAYS =============== - £ 642 LOSS
----------------------------------------------------------------
THOMPSON'S TIPPING TOOLS (tools of the trade used in the manufacture of scam-ads!) Can you spot them! I'll give you a clue (ttt)

Thompson says:- "makes sure his clients are the first to know" (ttt)
I say:- WOW! A 5-1 winner and a 9-2 winner. WOW!
I say:- At last Thompson's 'stuck his pin in a couple of decent wins!
I say:- It looks like his inside info and HQ info is really working!
I say :-Terrific tipping Thompson. Your losses now stand at £642!
I say:- You tell us about the two wins over the weekend. Any losers?
I say:- You won 9.5 points and lost 8 points, but why not say?
I say:- Your overall win at the weekend was £7.50 to a £5 stake!!!
I say:- Were your clients the first to know of their surprise windfall?

Thompson bangs in a 5-1 winner and a 9-2 winner in two days and immediately slaps a scam-ad in The Racing Post gloating about them. Now to a person that did not realise the trickery behind the scam, they could be forgiven if they were impressed. But they would not realise that he also had 8 losers. That is an approximate guess because according to Thompson's advert, losers never happen to his tips! Now if we work out the profit from Thomson's staggering weekend performance we come up with:-

Wins at 5-1 and 9-2. That makes a profit of £47.50 to a £5 stake
8 losers........................That makes a loss of .. £40 to a £5 stake
Total profit at the weekend = £7.50 leaving a current loss of £642

So lets rearrange his advert to show the reverse of his trick coin.
Assuming that he averages 5 tips a day.

'TOMMO'S TIPS'
'8 losers at the weekend!!'
' and also a 5-1 & 9-2 winner'
'Total profit at the weekend 1.5 points'
'or £1.50 to a level £5 stake!'

Looking at Thompson's trick scam-ad, you could be forgiven if you succumbed to temptation. After all it is a very impressive advert isn't it and if you are vulnerable you would not know the trickery, deception and omissions that went into its creation. Now if you saw my hypothetical advert (non scam!) you would see that at the weekend Thompson did not even win enough to buy a race card!

Now I ask the question! Which of the two adverts is moral, ethical, decent, honest, non scam, non fraud, non trick, non misleading, not a swindle and not a con?

Now I will ask another question! Which of the two adverts is immoral, un-ethical, dis-honest, a scam, fraudulent, a trick, misleading, a swindle and a con?

Think about it!
