RACING POSTS POOR WEBSITE

(The new Racing Post website is appalling and I wanted to say so!! A friend of mine suggested that I put up a rant about it on The ATR Horse Racing forum. I am ashamed to say that since I have been active on the web, I have never tapped into that site. After doing so it became immediately apparent what I had missed out. What a cracking good forum it is compared to the machine gun rat-a-tat-tat posts of the Betfair Horse Racing forum! I am no longer allowed to use the BF Forum because I over expressed my views on the operaters of scam tipping adverts. I do not intend to do the same on the ATR thread. Hence this Blog. Below is a copy of my Racing Post rant)

The new Racing Post website is an absolute disgrace.

WHAT A PUZZLING LOAD OF SPACE, FLASH, CONFUSION & SCROLL!!

Apart from the site being a flashy kaleidoscope of space and color, try tapping in a horses name and look at the empty spaces that interrupt the list! You will see a couple of numbers (jockey weight) A whole line is wasted space is given just to accommodate a couple of numbers, because of bad design and overspill. The empty spaces make the page look messy and interrupt the flow of the read. One would have thought the dummies that designed and approved this load of junk would have understood the simple reader requirements that would make the site more customer friendly and usable. But not this shower of incompetents who are responsible for the mess that was once an EXCELLENT, repeat EXCELLENT site. Alas Alas it is no more!!

Another thing. I’m an old man and me grey matter is in decline! But could some kind soul please tell me how I can open the ‘result search’ I have spent hours in the Racing Post Puzzle and I’m effed if I can find it. Or are they charging 20p per race result?

The new RP has got more color now than a comic. It is no longer a reflect of the newspaper. It has become a racing comic, and the incompetents that designed it must be rejects from the Beano!! And that is a compliment.

Message to the Racing Post. After spending many years using your once cracking good website, I regret to inform you that due to your inability to understand what your readers require, I’m gone. Sporting Life here I come.

And just one more thing before I go. Your new trash website is out of order this morning. It says

WEBSITE DOWN FOR SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh ha ha Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

A little while later I thought I would try and post a thread (my first) on the ATR forum about Thompsons scam PRS 090 tipping service. I did. It lasted a minute. And then the following popped up on my screen

“YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON“
WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS CALLED SPAM”
“NICE TRY – POOR EFFORT”
“DATE THE BAN WILL BE LIFTED - NEVER”

I claim that that 1 minute must be the fastest ever '1st thread' post and being banned.

I felt they were waiting for me! And then a friend mentioned that Thompson works for ATR!!!
Aaaaah! I see it now. The old pals network!!!

I think I might try Talk Sport next!!

And then Channel 4!!

I've tried Betfair and they kicked me out!

They must all know of his insidious and immoral scam-ad racket, but they patronise and protect him! What chance do Thompson's minnow size victims have against such powerfull, patronising, protective and immoral supporting giants for the scam-ad man!

I did like the ATR forum though!!
