Derek Thompson has a half page colour advert in Sunday's Racing Post (15th). He is gloating about the 4/5 winner he gave last Sunday (no mention of the losers)

Because of the size of the advert I can for the first time read the small print about the Text Tips service he operates.

There are two types of text service:

(1) The one-off service whereby you simply text him at a cost of £1.50, and he sends you back 2 tips

(2) The subscription service whereby you text him at a cost of £1.00 and he send you back 2 tips, and he will continue to send you tips by text every day unless you send him another text, presumably costing £1.00 ,asking him to stop.

But he's found a way of ripping you off on the subscription service.

In the extremely small print, he informs you that the cost of the subscription service each week will be £14 (£2 a day). So instead of sending you the 2 tips in 1 text message at a cost of £1.00, Thompson is again stretching this over 2 text messages at £1.00 each to make sure he doubles his money.

Is there no limit to this man's ruthless exploitation of innocent people ?

By "exploitation of innocent people," do you mean people that are without 'knowledge and experience' of British Horse Racing? Are The British Horse Racing board aware of the 090 scams and cons that are the scourge of British Horse Racing? Of course they are! But the BHB prefer to patronise rather than condemn. The BHB do nothing to protect innocent people who are without knowledge and experience of 090 scam tipping parasites like Thompson, Nevison, Pipe and co. Such parasitic 090 tipsters trick con and deceive those without knowledge and experience. Such tipsters have no morals! What they all have in common is a track record similar to Derek Thompson's.
