RACING POST'S DAVID CARR SAYS TEENAGERS BUNK OFF IN BETTING SHOPS

Absolutely true David.....And when they are in the betting shop they pick up the Racing Post and see adverts showing loads of winners on sale from slick 090 trick tipsters like Derek Thompson and co.

I know the tipsters are con men Dave and so do you....But do the teenagers that have just bunked of school know they are looking at adverts that are manufactured to impress, by skillful, result juggling, 090 tipping tricksters like Nevison and co?..... No they don't do they?. These young lads are about to be ripped off by professional tipsters who are after the teenagers pocket money!!!

One teenager says to another, "lets have a whip round and phone this geezer up and see what he says and then we'll have a bet....We are bound to win because he shows all these winners and no losers in his advert"....Do you think that is fair Dave?....Out comes their mobile phone and they phone.... But do the lads know how long they will be phoning for at £1 or £1.50 per minute....They think it will only take a minute or two at most to name a few horses....The advert gives them no idea as to how long the call will last. Does it?...Do you think that is fair Dave? You and me know it will take about 7 minutes, but the teenager's don't do they?

The teenagers do not know that the unscrupulous tipster will suck the blood out of their call by crap talking for 5 minutes before giving them the names of the horses, do they. Do you think that is fair Dave? They probably think it will only take a minute or so.

After being ripped of by excessive crap talk at £1/£1.50 per minute the teenagers then put a few bob on the tipsters horses thinking they will get the telephone losses back.....At the end of the day, every horse loses. You and I know that nearly always happens don't we dave? But the teenagers don't do they. Do you not think that teenagers have a right of protection from 090 charlatan racing tipsters who are without any form of moral scruples as to who they rip off. After all it is the likes of these very vulnerable teenagers that the scam 090 tipping services target with their winner only adverts isn't it Dave.
