GOTCHA THOMPSON!!..GOTCHA

All that you see below the double line is word for word what I wrote in my Blog on the 24th of Jan 2009. exact to the very last full stop! It relates to a horse he THOMPSON gloated about in his website advert that he tipped in 2005!!

It disappeared from his website a day or so after I wrote the letter below!!

WHAT AN EXTRAORDINARY COINCIDENCE!!!!

I WONDER WHY?

My response to this amazing coincidence will be scripted in my archive post "web scam-ad CHANGED!!...WHY!!!" which is sited at the top of the archive list.

.
Part of a letter that I am sending to ALL authorities.....
AND I WANT RESULTS AND ANSWERS
------------------------------------------
DEREK THOMPSON’S WEBSITE CODE VIOLATIONS

And finally sir. You will see in the yellow box (Derek Thompson's Website) a horse called Kinnaird shown at 70-1. That price is over twice the starting price of 33-1…. Misleading by deception. Code violation. Starting prices only should be shown.

The 090 advert adjacent to the yellow box of ‘winners only’ suggests that the winners came from that 090 service. I believe they did not. In fact I am almost certain they did not! Misleading by visual suggestion and deception plus code violation.

You will see that Thompson lists a load of flashy prices in the yellow box but fails to indicate the name of any horse, the date or where raced. (except the eye catching 70-1 trick price winner) He throws a load of fancy prices in a box and shows nothing to connect them with any race. All prices are un-provable to the reader. The prices look impressive and tempting and do tempt, but where did they come from? Is the purchaser of his tips not entitled to know at least the name of the related horse? Misleading by omission and misleading visual suggestion.

Until recently The Trinity Mirror Group showed a tag that indicated they proofed Thompson’s selections. The tag has now recently been removed. The removal indicates to the customer that there may be reasons for so doing. If there are reasons, is the customer not entitled to know why TMG stopped proofing?

The Trinity Mirror Group own the Racing Post. I believe Thompson is not charged for his adverts in that paper. They all take a share of the 090 revenue. All three have financially linked interests in the tipsters advert. Hardly independent are they? One might say that they have a rather cosy relationship.

My last complaint is the most serious of all and after reading it sir, I would challenge you to contradict me. It concerns the only horse Thompson mentions on his web-page. Kinnaird 70-1 in the yellow box. If you look in the yellow box you will see it was tipped in October with all the rest of the winners that he boasts. 3 months back. That is a long stretch to promote past winners even by Derek Thompson’s standards. As Kinnaird was the only horse mentioned in the website I decided to check it out to see what it’s SP was.

I checked October 2008……. No Kinnaird
I checked October 2007…….. No Kinnaird
I checked October 2006…….. No Kinnaird
I checked October 2005……...And there it was KINNAIRD 33-1

The last time Kinnaird ran (ever) was 23rd October 2005
The very last time Kinnaird won was on the 2nd of October 2005.
It has not run since.
I believe that Thompson has been promoting Kinnaird to sell his website 090 service for years (I cannot prove it but I’m sure someone can)
.
I would ask that you look at Derek Thompson’s website again and ask yourself, how many people look at that yellow flash of impressive winners - the 090 conveniently placed telephone beside the flash - and then look at the wonderful winners in the yellow flash for the month of “October”. 2008?....... AND THEN PHONE!!!!

Answer. Probably tens of thousands. Every single one of them would and so would I had I not checked it out! All potential callers will relate the website claims to the tipsters 090 service for the month of October 2008? false pretences and massive code violation..

Thompson did not lie. He said October and it was October. The only difference is that the October the customer thought he was responding to was 2008, when unknowing to the customer, Thompson’s website “October” relates to 2005.

Thompson’ current website chooses not too tell the name of a horse at its starting price of 33-1. Instead he shows it at 70-1.. Code violation....

Thompson chooses to tell his customer the month of his winners was Octber. It was. OCTOBER 2005!!!!. Misleading.. Trickery-Deception- Dishonest and Indecent.. Massive code violation..

All the information I have given you can be matched with the website copy I that enclose with this letter. Kinnairds result can be proved in archive race results.

And finally sir. Think about the tens of thousands of thousands of people that were tricked by this 090 scam not realising they were the victims of a con. If Thompson is found at fault, will they get their money back? Thompson has made himself a very rich man on the strength of his many trick 090 tippping services

In my opinion sir, I have supplied undisputable evidence of wrong doing by Derek Thompson and would ask that is he to be allowed to continue skinning the vulnerable. Should you require further evidence of his trickery, I will be pleased to oblige, especially to his 090 Racing Post adverts.

Thompson is promoting his 090 service today (23rd Jan 2009) on one single horse that won in October 2005. That sir is one huge massive con. A scam and a fraud. To sell vulnerable people a service based on OCTOBER WINNERS OF 2005 when they think that it must be 2008 cannot be excused anything other that a confidence trick of the highest magnitude.

That of course sir is as I see it. Maybe the authorities will see it different. But for the sake of the poor people who do not realize the reality within……It is not decent. It is not honest and it is not fair..With the very greatest of respect sir I suggest that this 090 website be looked into

-------------------------------------------
(to be added to the letter.)

Please take another look at the yellow box sir. Thompson claims 65 winners in October. Heaven alone only knows as to which October he is referring. I would ask the regulator why does he not show his customers HIS PROFIT for that month? And why does he not show his winners for November and December? Maybe he has reasons! He may have had 65 winners in Octoner but I can almost guarantee he made a loss to a level stak. The customer is not interested in just getting winners sir. Every customer that phones 090 tipsters expects to make a profit given the information that the tipster presents to them ... 090 tipsters never show their monthly profits. They only choose to show their winners. That sir is not a decent way to trick the caller into phoning the tipster
