Dave Nevison is a DISHONEST LIAR and a CON-MAN who fiddles the figures to deceive the public.

He pays for a full page advert in Friday's Racing Post (13th), Is that a trick advert Nevison?

He claims 10 winners from 21 selections in February. That is a LIE Nevison. On the 1st February you gave no less than 9 selections including 8 favourites and 6 of them lost !!! You give out between 3 and 6 horses every day, so to claim you have only given 21 selections up to the 13th. February is a BLATANT LIE.

Yesterday's half page advert allowed you to cherry pick your winners from your mysterious "account bets" that nobody understands ,and you claimed 10 winners from 20 selections. All your other hopeless tips that were not an "account bet" were conveniently forgotten about.

Today you are not cherry picking, instead you are LYING. There is no mention of "account bets", whatever they are.

You are claiming 10 winners from 21 selections which is DISHONEST

Dave Nevison is trying to screw £1.50 per minute from the public in one of the most disgusting and misleading adverts ever published.

Nevison, you should hang your head in shame and never set foot on the racecourse again

Gerry sez: I must admit that my response to his £10,000 worth of trick advertising over the last two days was indeed as confusing as what you say. Now take a look at his advert and ask yourself how can you get in touch with him to explain the confusion. He has got a telepone number. It is 0870 487 4870.

Now there are a lot of tricky bistards out there that make 10's of thousands of pounds by trick telephone calls so I tapped 0870 into Google. This is what came up!

SAYNOTO0870.COM

Question? How can you speak to Nevison without him screwing you for £1.50 per minute

I NEED SOME HONEST PERSON TO FEED ME NEVISONS TIPPING RECORDS!!
PEOPLE LIKE THOMPSON AND NEVISON ARE RACING PARASITES!!

Gerry asked the above emailer if he could help with trying to access Nevisons track record and also how many tipping services he operates. I told the emailer NOT TO RING THAT 0870 number under any circumstances. He ignored my request and paid the price of £1.50 per minute for HELP from the biggest advertorial parasite in British horse racing! DAVE NEVISON! This is what happened.

Gerry, I had to ring it - there was no other way.

The firm that answers is Eckoh Technology. They act on behalf of a number of organisations (including all the tipping lines) mobile phone ringtones etc... Their role is simply to explain what a particular service provides, in this case "tips".
I told them I was thinking of subscribing and I would like some history of their performance. They said that sort of information is not available. I asked how new subscribers are expected to form an opinion, and they said that most new subscribers come personally recommended from satisfied customers. I asked if I could find out from elsewhere how successful the tipsters were, and the lady said the best way was to read the adverts in the RP which explained about their previous winners such as 5/4, 11/10 etc... (she honestly believed this !!!)

And yes, it cost me £1.50 pm !!!

Gerry sez!..... Brrrr Brrrrr!...Hello regulator.......

The ASA upheld another complaint against a tipster, and its as recent as January this year

Earlier in the day I recieved an email which I suggested should be forwarded onto ppp, asa and trading standards. This was his reply.

"I will do. This is as bad as Thompson importing some winners from another service to give him some credibility.

What Nevison is effectively doing is giving out tips at £1.50 a minute, but if they lose he says they don't count against him. However if they win he will be gloating for weeks and put them in adverts.

His advert today is making false claims in order to obtain a financial advantage for himself, and that is unfair.

Gerry sez....and those with 'lack of knowledge or inexperience' will never know!

Dave Nevison is cherry picking and producing some tasty figures.

Dave Nevison takes a half page advert in Thursday's Racing Post and claims 10 winners from 20 selections.

Dave Nevison then lists all the tips, both winners and losers, together with their SP's. And guess what ? It shows a profit of £204 to a £50 stake. But wait a minute .... in small print, it says these are "account bets" !!! What exactly is an "account bet" ?? Do callers have to have an account somewhere to back these horses ? Would a first time caller know what an "account bet" is ??

Dave Nevison is attempting to deceive the public by manipulating the figures.

On the 1st February, Dave Nevison claims 3 tips, all of which lost. That is not true. On the 1st February Dave, you gave out 9 tips and 6 lost. I know this for a fact because I telephoned you. If you had just given 3 tips, the call would have lasted a minute - instead it lasted 5 minutes meaning more premium rate money for your pocket.

On the 4th February, you claim only 1 selection. On the 8th February you claim only 1 selection. On that basis the call should have lasted just a few seconds - I bet it didn't.

Dave Nevison gives out numerous tips every day and the call lasts at least between 3 and 6 minutes @ £1.50.

It is no good Dave Nevison cherry picking at this stage in order to show a profit from something called an "account bet".
Every horse you gave as a tip should be on your list. The reason they are not there is because it would have produced a loss for you.

In future, just tip only the "account bet" and get off the phone within seconds to save the gullible caller some money, or include everything (including the rest of the losers) in your adverts and produce true figures.

By listing only the "account bets", you are massaging the figures to your advantage. And if you'd like me to remind you of the 3 other losers you gave on the 1st February that you didn't include in your list then get in touch and I'll remind you.

Gerry sez: Account bets? What are these?

To find out you will have to ring Nevisons helpline 0870 4874870.

You may at first think it is free. After all, you are only making an enquiry.

But it is not free. Aproximately 12 " away from the telehone number, the furthest distance possible, you will see that Nevison charges £1.50 per minute to help people.

So whilst talking to a human being Nevison is charging you £1.50 per minute. The rate charge in small print is rather misleading being so far apart.

If you ask for details of Nevisons performance you will be told that such information is not available.

If you ask how potential customers can form an opinion about Nevisons services, you will be told that most 090 customers come personally recommended from other satisfied customers. (Where do you go to find a satisfied 090 customer? Try the moon!)

If you ask from what other source you can try to find out exactyly how successful Nevison is you will be told to look at his results in The Racing Post.

If you look in The Racing Post (13th Feb) you will see Nevisons full page £6000 advert which shows nothing but a full page of winners. But you have already seen his winners, you want to see his losers. The reason you want to see his losers is because he may be trying the same 'winner only' trick as his tipping pal Channel 4 Racings Derek Thompson.

If you are still unhappy that you unable to find out more about Dave Nevison' 090tipping service, will have to ring Nevisons helpline 0870 4874870.

And all I wanted was confirmation that Dave Nevisison has

"A BLOODY GOOD TIPPING SERVICE"

Why do you make it so difficult Nevison? Have you something to hide?
